The first year of a company is a year of small decisions that add up. One of them is software. A founder signs up for a project tool, then a booking tool, then somewhere to keep track of leads, then something to send invoices from. Each has its own monthly price, its own login and its own idea of who the customer is. By the time the company has five people, it is paying four vendors and still copying information between them by hand.

We built the Founder Starter Kit for that stage of a business. It is a single plan that includes all four Spotbookr Business products: Project Management, Scheduling, CRM and Invoicing.

What it costs

The Founder Starter Kit is $12.49 per user per month when billed yearly ($149.99 per user per year), or $14.99 month to month.

Bought separately on the same yearly billing, the four products come to $19.96 per user per month. The kit is the same four products, with nothing held back, for more than a third less. It also includes Document Signing, which is not available with single products.

It starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card when you begin, nothing is charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends, nothing is charged at all.

A project timeline in Spotbookr Project Management

What is in it

Project Management. Backlogs, sprints, boards, timelines, calendars and reports, with automations that take care of routine work. It is equally at home running a software sprint or a client fit-out.

Scheduling. A public booking page, a shared diary, services with their own prices and lengths, reminders, and a place to block out time for project work.

CRM. Contacts, companies, deals and a pipeline with your own stages, plus an enquiry form for your website and reports on your forecast and win rate.

Invoicing. Saved products and prices, estimates your customers accept online, invoices with your logo, PDF copies, and card payments through your own Stripe account.

Document Signing, included. Customers sign the estimates they accept, and both sides get a signed copy with a certificate anyone can verify. Your team can sign any PDF and attach it to the work it belongs to. This comes with the Founder Starter Kit and the Enterprise plan only.

The dashboard that brings the four products together

Why one kit instead of four tools

The price is the obvious reason. The better one is what happens between the products.

When a lead fills in the enquiry form on your website, the CRM creates the contact and the deal. You book the first meeting from the deal, and it appears in your diary. You write an estimate from the same deal. When the customer signs it online, the deal is marked as won, the invoice is drafted with the same lines, and a project can be started with a task for each thing you agreed to deliver.

For a founder, that is hours back every week, and far fewer mistakes. The customer's name is entered once. The price that was quoted is the price that is invoiced. The work that was sold is the work that is planned.

It grows with the team

The kit is priced per person, so a founder working alone pays for one seat. When someone joins, their seat is added and charged for the rest of the current period. Each person gets a role in each product, so a contractor can be given access to one project board without seeing the pipeline or the invoices.

For established companies, the Enterprise plan covers all four products and Document Signing for up to ten people for $1,199.99 a year, paid once a year.

Try it before you decide

The live demo opens the whole suite with example data and asks only for an email address. Nothing is saved when you close it, so you can click on everything.
